Yirra Yaakin proudly presents 21 years of sharing Aboriginal Stories

Yirra Yaakin celebrate 21 years as WA’s leading Aboriginal performing arts company. This exclusive event is a vivid exploration of friendships and successes, shared with an exciting line up of artists and special guests including

Ernie Dingo, Richard Walley & the Middar Dancers, David Milroy (and the Wilarra band), Derek Nannup, Kelton Pell, Kyle J Morrison, Miranda Tapsell, Kylie Farmer, MC Optamus and DownSyde with performances from hit shows such as Waltzing the Wilarra, Alice, Windmill Baby, Good Lovin’ and many more. This shared story will be told in an evening of live music, dance and song, from the traditional through to the contemporary, with a focus on the major works and achievements of the company. Join us in celebrating WA Aboriginal culture – past, present and future.
